The commencement ceremony is an occasion of great significance to each of you, your family, and your friends. This moment of great importance is a formal recognition of your academic achievements.

Because we are concerned about the safety as well as the decorum of the ceremony, the throwing of graduation caps and the consumption of alcoholic beverages during the ceremony are prohibited.
